In 1989, Darryl Palmer (a Waterville local) decided to chase his dreams of being a business owner and bought a large shed just outside of downtown Waukon, Iowa formerly known as Peterson Repair. This large shed would soon become the business we now know as Palmer Repair. Now located on HWY 9 just outside of Waukon we have come a long way since then. In the early years of the business, Darryl realized he wasn’t going to be able to handle the whole business by himself and asked his sons to come to work for him. Ever since, Palmer Repair has been a family business.
